The second key focus area of SELF HELP was propagating alternate medicinal systems. SELF HELP have organised Pranic healing orientation programmes in various institutions. Orientation programme on Pranic Healing were organized in United Nations Development Programme, (UNDP) New Delhi; The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities ( earlier called National Institute of Visually Challenged-NIVH).; Integrated Livelihood Support Project of International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) District office , Uttarkashi,Uttarakhand ; Aurobindo Ashram, New Delhi; Dehradun Club, Dehradun; Various schools and Academic Institutions across the country; Life Insurance Corporation and IFFCO. Orientation programmes were also organized in Schools like North Point School Dehradun, Senior Citizen Complex, Cooperative Management Institute, Dehraudn.

The whole purpose of promoting alternative healing systems was that the poor should shift from spending huge amount in health care and adopt alternative systems for prevention and health care. Several Basic courses were organized in Dehradun and Dehi with the help of Pranic healing trainer and President of SELF HELP – Shri Vijendra Singh.  Healing of  more than 2000 people not only in India but also in other countries has been done so far.
